FAQs

I understand that my business model is confusing.  I am simply a person who likes to make things, and in order to keep making things, I must sell the things.  So here I am.  These are the most frequently asked questions.  If what you want isn't covered here, feel free to reach out via my contact page.

Do you take comissions?
For many years I have had a waitlist that I work from.  As of 11/4/2025 I had to close it to new folks thanks to a few viral videos and the overwhelming support.  I am currently working on catching up and will hopefully open it back up someday.  Likely not till 2028, though.

If I can't get on a waitlist, how do I get your work?
As I work down my waitlist, I make an extra of everything the waitlisters ask for.  If those turn out, they go up in the shop. I do shop drops every two months, but things sell out suuuper fast.  So you gotta keep an eye on the socials to see when the next drop is.
I also raffle off one mug (almost) every month to raise money for a charity.  You can see more about that here

Is there anyway to get first dibs?
Yes! I have a Patreon.  It starts at $3 a month and if you're a paid member you can get first dibs on anything going up in the shop.  This is also why sometimes you'll see items "Reserved for Patrons".  Once they have about 24 hours, the rest go up to the public.  There is also a free tier you can join just to keep an eye on whats going on, then start paying when the stuff you like is about to go up for sale.

Will you do Harry Potter?
Short answer, no.  Long answer, I believe good fan art inherintly takes someone back to it's source material, and JK Rowling has done far too much damage to the trans community and our society at large for me to want to guide folks back to her work.  If you're willing to make a donation to either the Trevor project or a Trans Mutual Aid fund, I may consider making something for you.

Why does it take so long to get something from you?
For a number of reasons.  Ceramics itself simply takes a long time.  I had a few viral videos and now my waitlist is over 1000 people long.  And I have to make time to work on my personal projects or I'll go crazy.  If that doesn't work for you, I totally get it.  There are many other artists who would love to have your business.

But I want a Lord of the Rings mug next month for my fathers birthday! ...or something like that...
That's great!  I have a list on my ko-fi of other artists making Lord of the Rings themed stuff!  Go checkit out here: https://ko-fi.com/makerbakery
I'm sure your father will love it
